Verganti, 2008), aiming to impress and anticipate their expectations, even modifying their mental model.
Verganti points out that true innovation arises when there is a rupture in both the meaning and the technology employed. It is at this point that the
User-Centered Design approach becomes crucial in the whole process.
User experience (UX) is an essential element in creating quality products that captivate users and generate a positive impact. This implies always betting on new platforms and formats, and constantly improving aspects related to
sustainability and design. The Valley's experts emphasize that specialization in design and user experience requires continuous learning to acquire the necessary tools to offer innovative solutions.
Identifying common obstacles to innovation is essential to overcome them and move forward. Two of the main challenges are lack of resources and resistance to change. Lack of financial, human and technological resources can limit the ability to invest in research and development, while resistance to change can arise due to fear of the unknown or a preference for routine. To overcome these obstacles, it is crucial to seek external funding, form strategic alliances and employ effective change management strategies.
It is essential to bet on new products, platforms and formats, such as virtual reality or the metaverse, to offer innovative and responsible experiences. Continuous training is key to developing projects that improve purchasing processes and ensure a satisfactory user experience, which will ultimately translate into positive results for companies.
